DSS' outreach representatives will be at Richland Library to assist customers with answers to their SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program or Food Stamps) questions. This can include completing your SNAP interview, asking questions about your benefits, and completing renewal paperwork. If you have any questions about your SNAP benefits and applications, this is the event for you.
DSS will be present in the Social Work Access Center on the Third Level. This event is walk-in only; no appointments are needed. Please understand that you will see DSS on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please note - your SNAP application must have already been submitted to DSS, at least 48 hours prior to this event, for the team to assist with your interview. If you need to apply for SNAP, you can do so on the DSS website, at your local Social Services Office or by visiting the Social Work Center at Richland Library. While we are not employees of the Department of Social Services, we are happy to help you access the SNAP application so you will be prepared for the event at the Library.
For your safety and ours, please stay home if you have COVID-19, if you have symptoms of COVID-19, if you are waiting for COVID-19 test results, or may have been exposed to someone with COVID-19.
