How to Use Your Nook at the Library

Barnes and Noble Nook

eBooks can be downloaded from OverDrive to a computer and then transferred to a portable reader, such as the Barnes & Noble Nook.

Get Set Up:

  • Download Adobe Digital Editions software to your computer.
  • Activate the software with an Adobe ID. This Adobe ID must be the same one used to activate your Nook reader.
  • Browse available eBooks (fiction & nonfiction)
  • Find a title and click “Add to Cart”.
  • Click “Proceed to Checkout” and enter your library card number and PIN.
  • Set desired check out timeframe and click “Confirm Checkout”
  • Click “Download”.
  • After the download process is complete, transfer the ebook to your Nook.
